To make a change in your community and society, you need to do your bit for democracy. One way to get involved is by voting in elections, so you help to choose who represents you and makes decisions on your behalf.
No matter where you were born, if you live in Wales and are 16 or over, you can now vote in Senedd elections.

From May 2022, you鈥檒l also be able to vote in local council elections in Wales when you鈥檙e 16. You can register to vote when you鈥檙e 14. Find out more about registering
