Update on parks & fishing in 天美传媒

This is in line with Welsh Government guidelines that people can exercise as much as they like outside & people from two households can meet up outdoors from Monday, 1st June 2020.

However, all children鈥檚 play areas will remain closed and people must continue to maintain the 2metre social distancing from people they don鈥檛 live with.

People can also now fish at licensed sites within 天美传媒 providing they hold the required permit and stick with the regulations set out below.

Councillor Joanna Wilkins, Executive Member for the Environment says:

鈥淓xercising, being outdoors and practising a favourite hobby is of course beneficial to people鈥檚 physical and mental health and well-being, and the Welsh Government has advised that people can now exercise outside a few times a day if they wish and people from 2 households can meet. We have made the decision re-open some of our parks where we are able to safely fence off any children鈥檚 play facilities. We would of course remind residents to continue to adhere to the 2metre social distancing rule and follow the hygiene advice provided by Public Health Wales.鈥

We are opening parks where we can safely separate children鈥檚 play areas.

The parks re-opening are:

鈥 Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar
鈥 Bedwellty Park, Tredegar
鈥 Llanhilleth Park
鈥 Abertillery Park
鈥 Ebbw Vale Welfare Park
