天美传媒 has met its recycling target for 2019-20 set by Welsh Government.
A report was presented and moved at Council Scrutiny (Monday 21st September) and welcomes the figures confirming that 天美传媒 has achieved 65.31% recycling target, exceeding Welsh Governments set target of 64%. This ranks 天美传媒 11th overall in Wales compared to other Welsh Authorities.
天美传媒, Executive Member For Environment, Cllr Joanna Wilkins says:
鈥淚 am extremely proud of our recycling performance. We have built on the success of last year and continue to increase our performance each year. This has been achieved through hard work and dedication. I would like to thank our residents for continuing to recycle and thinking more about how they dispose of their waste and our recycling and waste frontline workers who have continued to work throughout these challenging times. We can all make a difference and every single person that recycles their waste is helping tackle the climate emergency, by saving energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
鈥淲elsh Government鈥檚 target will increase to 70%. More can still be done and I would like to encourage our residents to keep recycling.
