Business Start-up Grant
Grant funding is available to pre-start businesses and can fund costs including but not limited to equipment, training, accreditations, and marketing.
The grant is discretionary and may provide up to 75% of eligible expenditure, to a maximum of £1,000 support.Ìý
All applicants will be required to provide a robust business plan including a 12-month cash flow forecast.

Kick Start Plus Grant
The grant is aimed at supporting businesses from 6 months to 3 years.Ìý Funding is available to all businesses based within ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½.
The grant is discretionary and may provide up to 50% of eligible expenditure, to a maximum of £2,500 of support.Ìý The minimum grant payable is £250.
Eligible expenditure includes ICT, Marketing, Website Development, Training and Accreditation costs.Ìý Other costs may be considered if ways of adding value to the business can be demonstrated.ÌýÌý

Business Development Grant
The grant aims to support the growth and development of Small Medium Enterprise (SMEs) based within ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½.Ìý Funding is available to all sectors providing the project meets one or more of the key project deliverables.Ìý
The grant is discretionary and may provide up to 50% of eligible expenditure, to a maximum of £50,000 of support (up to £25,000 capital costs and up to £25,000 revenue costs).Ìý The minimum grant payable is £2,500.
The grant can fund costs including but not limited to machinery and equipment, systems which reduce carbon footprint and improve efficiencies, training, accreditations, marketing, consultancy fees.Ìý
All applicants will be required to provide financial information and any other information required to support their application.

Social Enterprise Grant
The grant aims to support the growth and development of new and existing Social Enterprises within the Borough for both Capital & Revenue costs over the next two years (2023 -2025).
The grant is discretionary and may provide up to 50% of eligible expenditure for both capital and revenue projects.Ìý The maximum grant will depend on the level of budget available at the time of applications.Ìý The minimum grant payable is £2,500.
The grant can fund costs including but not limited to machinery and equipment, systems which reduce carbon footprint and improve efficiencies, staff costs for new employees, training – online and in person, social media support, accreditations, marketing, consultancy fees.Ìý
All applicants will be required to provide financial information and any other information required to support their application.
